Personal data is processed when using this website, registering for use, watching videos and conducting quizzes. On this page we inform you about this processing in accordance with the legal provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Log of your visit to the website
When you access our website, information about the access (date, time, page viewed, amount of data, retrieving IP address) is stored as log files on our server. This is done on the legal basis of the legitimate interest in ensuring the smooth operation of our information offering and optimizing this offering (Article 6 (1) f GDPR). This data is evaluated by us exclusively for our own statistical purposes, in an anonymous form. The log data will be deleted after one month.
In principle, your data will not be passed on to third parties. An exception is the transfer to contract processors who work exclusively on instructions from EVER, do not use the data for their own purposes and are bound by their own agreements to the data protection obligations of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Protection against cyber attacks
In order to protect our website against widespread cyber attacks, in particular distributed denial of service attacks (DDoS), we use the services of Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”). The data transmitted between your end device (browser) and our servers is checked for possible attack attempts and blocked if necessary. This processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting our infrastructure and providing our information (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). If, when using Cloudflare, data is transmitted to the USA and thus outside the European Union, this takes place on the legal basis of Art. 46 GDPR. For this purpose, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission on June 4th, 2021 were concluded with Cloudflare.
Registration
If you would like to take advantage of our information offer, we process your name and contact information, which we use to send you information about new content. We use the information about the country for statistical purposes. All other information is voluntary and not required for registration. While viewing videos, technical information from your end device or your Internet connection is processed to ensure optimal call quality.
The processing is necessary for the fulfillment of the agreement on the use of the information offers and the issuance of the relevant certificates (Art. 6 (1) b DSGVO). The data will be deleted five years after your last login on the website. You will not receive any emails from EVER other than notification of new content on the website.
Please note that this information service from EVER is aimed exclusively at health care professionals. EVER reserves the right to check the registration data in this regard and to block or delete user accounts if a violation of these Terms of Use is determined.
Videos on this website
This site also allows you to view recordings of past webinars and informational videos. When viewing these videos, data from your device and other technical connection information are transmitted to our service provider Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10111, USA to ensure optimal picture and sound quality. This processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) b GDPR, as otherwise we cannot fulfill the agreement to watch recorded webinars and in accordance with Section 165 of the Telecommunications Act 2021, according to which transmissions are permitted if they are for services expressly requested by the user required are. The transmission of the mentioned data to countries outside the European Union is permitted on the basis of Art. 49 (1) b DSGVO, because the transmission is necessary to fulfill the agreement to access the webinar recording.
In addition to the data mentioned during the retrieval of the recording, we process statistical data such as the number of retrievals based on our legitimate interest in optimizing the content (Article 6 (1) f GDPR). This information will of course not be passed on to third parties.
Usage analysis with Matomo
We use Matomo for a more detailed analysis of the use of our website. Technically necessary cookies are stored on your device. The data will not be passed on to third parties or used for other purposes. The processing takes place in our legitimate interest in improving our website.

Matomo was configured in such a way that all information that would allow personal reference and is transmitted for technical reasons (IP address) is removed immediately. Your data will not be shared with third parties. However, the processing takes place on our behalf at a service provider (Innocraft Ltd.). Data is also transmitted outside the European Union. Innocraft Ltd. is a company registered in New Zealand. In a decision, the EU Commission determined that processing in New Zealand is subject to a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU (Document C(2012) 9557). This means that the data export to New Zealand according to Art. 45 GDPR does not have to be approved additionally. In an agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, Innocraft has undertaken not to use the data for its own purposes and also to comply with the other provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification and erasure of data, the right to restrict processing, to object to processing (if processing is based on legitimate interest and you are in a particular situation), to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
